The Lyriq is bigger (16.4 ft), with more cargo space (28 cu ft) and up to 330 miles of range - ideal for families and longer trips. The Optiq is more agile (15.3 ft), comes with standard AWD, and has a more affordable daily rate - perfect for couples and city driving. The premium cabin is virtually identical.
Do I need to know how to drive an electric car?+
No. If you can drive an automatic, you can drive a Cadillac EV. We give a 10-minute tutorial at delivery covering startup, regenerative braking, charging, and Super Cruise.
How does pickup at MCO airport work?+
You land, message us on WhatsApp, and our team brings the Cadillac to you at the terminal - no counter line, no walking with luggage to a remote lot. We also serve MIA, FLL, and SFB with a delivery fee on request.
Can I pick up at one airport and return at another?+
Yes. We handle pickup and return at MCO, MIA, FLL, and SFB, plus hotels and Airbnbs. Returning at a different location than pickup carries an additional fee that's quoted before booking.
What documents do I need to rent?+
A valid driver's license, a passport (for international visitors), and an international credit card in the main driver's name. Minimum age 21.
How does insurance work?+
We offer full coverage through Triad/Higginbotham, with a package specific to electric vehicles: vehicle damage, third-party liability, theft, and 24/7 roadside assistance. We walk you through the options (basic, intermediate, premium) before you book - no fine print.
Do I need to pay a deposit? How is it charged?+
Yes, a pre-authorization (hold) is placed on the international credit card at delivery - the amount varies by model and the insurance you choose. The final charge includes daily rates, any charging used, and applicable fees, with an itemized invoice at return. We accept all major international cards.
Is there a mileage charge or an additional-driver fee?+
Mileage is unlimited within Florida. An additional driver carries a small daily fee - just present a driver's license at delivery, and you can add a driver anytime via WhatsApp.
How do I pay for charging on the road?+
You don't pay separately. We set up the charging account before delivery - just plug in and go. Any charging used appears itemized on the final invoice, with full transparency on the per-kWh price.
What if the battery runs low mid-trip?+
It won't catch you off guard - the car warns you well in advance and suggests the nearest fast charger on your route. In an extreme case, our 24/7 support sends a mobile charger at no extra cost within the Orlando metro area.
Can I drive to Miami, Tampa, or Naples?+
Yes, with room to spare. The range covers Orlando-Miami direct (about 235 miles); for extra peace of mind we suggest a stop in Fort Pierce or Vero Beach. We send a route plan with charging stops via WhatsApp before your trip.
Do hotels and Airbnbs in Orlando have charging?+
Most premium hotels (Four Seasons, Waldorf, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, JW Marriott, Disney hotels) offer free or low-cost Level 2 charging. Homes in Reunion, ChampionsGate, and Encore Resort usually have a garage with a Level 1 outlet for overnight charging.
